We provide critical veterinary care when pets need it most, and our front desk team plays a vital role in delivering compassionate, timely service to our clients and patients.
Position Overview: Supports and adds value to an organization dedicated to quality pet emergency care and exceptional service. Performs a variety of clerical and customer service work in providing support to the medical team and hospital.
Position Details:
- Job Type: Full-Time

- Shift Availability: Must be able to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in clients and patients in a professional, courteous manner
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and handle client communications
- Maintain accurate medical records and client information
- Support veterinary staff with administrative duties
- Multitask efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced ER environment
- Depending on functional area of assignment, tasks may involve extended periods of time at a keyboard or workstation and/or extended periods of time standing and/or walking
- Some tasks involve the periodic performance of moderately physically demanding work, usually involving lifting or carrying moderately heavy animals (up to 50 pounds)
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Veterinary experience is required – please do not apply without prior vet clinic experience
- Identify and work compassionately with clients in various emotional states – must be comfortable handling emotional and urgent situations
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure – offer clients a warm, friendly and understanding greeting in person or on the phone; answers their questions
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Display a desire to provide outstanding services and exceed customer expectations
- Complete tasks quickly and thoroughly without prompting
- Demonstrate responsibility in completing all job tasks
- Work cooperatively with the team to address tasks and accomplish goals – respond to inquiries and refer to appropriate department/staff member as needed
- Monitor and review information thoroughly and maintains an organized system for all documents
- Maintain a professional appearance (clothes and attitude)
- Shows up for work regularly; full time presence at work is essential for every shift

Start Pay: $17.00 per hour. Part Time positions available for discussion – without benefits.
