Job Description: Responsibilities and duties:

  • Collect, sort, collate, date stamp, batch, scan, and distribute incoming mail to the correct departments.
  • Track and count daily claim receipts by updating and maintaining the claims log.
  • Sort mail such as returned letters, adjustments, bills, orders, and payments.
  • Prepare outgoing mail for Claims, Enrollment, and Member Service teams.
  • Weigh mail to determine correct postage.
  • Fold letters or other documents and insert them into envelopes for distribution.
  • Prepare Claim Batches
  • Maintain Misdirected Document Log
  • Assist in end-to-end claims reconciliation from mailroom to EZCAP in-load.
  • Assist in manual entry of claims in EZCAP when needed.
  • Work with offshore scanning vendor
  • Organize, maintain, and scan documents.
  • Stock copy rooms and printing devices.
  • Ensure office is adequately stocked with mail supplies.
  • Fax documents to clients, members, and vendors.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED. AA degree a plus.
  • Previous office/administration experience preferred
  • Must be able to carry up to 30 lbs
  • Knowledge of relevant software applications including MS Office
  • Proficient in use of email and internet
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Accurate keyboard skills
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Knowledge of administrative and basic accounting procedures
