Job Description: Responsibilities and duties:
- Collect, sort, collate, date stamp, batch, scan, and distribute incoming mail to the correct departments.
- Track and count daily claim receipts by updating and maintaining the claims log.
- Sort mail such as returned letters, adjustments, bills, orders, and payments.
- Prepare outgoing mail for Claims, Enrollment, and Member Service teams.
- Weigh mail to determine correct postage.
- Fold letters or other documents and insert them into envelopes for distribution.
- Prepare Claim Batches
- Maintain Misdirected Document Log
- Assist in end-to-end claims reconciliation from mailroom to EZCAP in-load.
- Assist in manual entry of claims in EZCAP when needed.
- Work with offshore scanning vendor
- Organize, maintain, and scan documents.
- Stock copy rooms and printing devices.
- Ensure office is adequately stocked with mail supplies.
- Fax documents to clients, members, and vendors.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED. AA degree a plus.
- Previous office/administration experience preferred
- Must be able to carry up to 30 lbs
- Knowledge of relevant software applications including MS Office
- Proficient in use of email and internet
- Good numeracy skills
- Accurate keyboard skills
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Knowledge of administrative and basic accounting procedures
