Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable, career-minded professional Dispatcher-Receptionist to join our team! This role is the first point of contact for our customers and plays a key part in keeping our daily operations running smoothly. Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and handle customer inquiries, service requests, and follow-up calls
- Attentively answer incoming calls on a multi-line phone system and ask questions to gather accurate job information
- Schedule appointments and coordinate technician dispatch, prioritizing calls based on urgency and customer need
- Maintain and update accurate customer records and job information
- Communicate with technicians regarding schedules, routes, and job status
- Order parts for service calls
- Manage emails, messages, and general office communications
- Prepare invoices and assist with other administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dispatching, customer service, reception, or office administration required
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency with computers, Quickbooks, iPhones/iPads, scheduling software, GPS technology and Microsoft Office
- Ability to remain calm and professional during busy periods
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
- Experience in the plumbing, HVAC, or home services industry is a plus
