Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients with a warm, friendly demeanor and assist with check-in and check-out processes.
- Schedule and manage patient appointments efficiently.
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Verify patient insurance information and process payments accurately.
- Send claims to insurances.
- Collect co-pays and payments; set up payment arrangements when needed
- Maintain accurate patient records in our dental software
- Coordinate with the clinical team to keep the day running smoothly
Ideal Candidate:
- Understand dental terminology.
- Experience and knowledge of EHR systems.
- Ability to project a positive, warm, and professional image in person and on the phone.
- Must be articulate, detailed, and service-oriented.
- Comfortable working with percentages and discussing finances with patients.
- Knowledge of dental insurance benefits.
- Enjoys motivating others to success.
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills.
- Able to multitask, take initiative, and anticipate needs.
- Flexible and willing to assist in other office areas as needed.
- Works well with a team, bringing humor, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
