Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Delinquent Real Estate Tax Collections Clerk to join our Law Firm. This role involves managing overdue property tax accounts, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and facilitating collections in compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of basic math, proficient typing skills and knowledge of Microsoft office tools.
Duties
- Manage and monitor delinquent real estate tax accounts.
- Prepare and process payments received, ensuring proper application to accounts using accounting software.
- Reconcile accounts receivable and perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of records on a monthly basis.
- Generate detailed financial reports related to tax collections.
- Collaborate with legal teams on proceedings or legal actions related to unpaid taxes.
- Experience
- Data entry, answering taxpayer phone calls, processing of payments and monthly reports. Typing skills, basic math skills and knowledge of Microsoft office tools.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32,000.00 – $40,000.00 per year
