About The Role
We are currently seeking a Temporary Data Entry Clerk to join our team remotely. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to our claims processing operations during peak seasons, such as hurricane periods, when workload volumes increase significantly. The role involves entering, verifying, and managing claim-related data with high accuracy, supporting mobile app transcription reviews, and maintaining detailed claim documentation. High performers in this role may be considered for full-time employment based on their performance and organizational needs.
Qualifications
- Secondary School diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in data entry, transcription, retail, or customer service roles
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
- Personal computer or laptop running Windows 10 or 11 (Mac or Chromebook not supported)
- USB wired headset and functioning webcam
- Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and online research tools
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and unsupervised
- Adaptability to new technology and willingness to learn
Responsibilities
- Accurately complete data entry of claim-related information, ensuring completeness and correctness
- Review and edit transcribed data from mobile applications to ensure accuracy
- Maintain ongoing communication with team members and Content Claims Specialists regarding claim progression and data updates
- Adhere to workflow deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
- Document and upload relevant claim information, maintaining detailed notes within the system
- Implement quality assurance feedback promptly and make necessary corrections
- Complete and submit detailed daily work and time logs for all processed claims
- Support other related tasks as assigned by management
- Ensure data security and confidentiality at all times
