About the role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Officer to provide day-to-day operational support for a client project. This role focuses on timely and accurate transaction processing in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The position offers hands-on exposure to financial operations and strong learning opportunities within a collaborative team.
Responsibilities:
- Timely and accurate processing of transactions
- Escalate processing issues as needed to maintain service levels
- Adhere to firm and industry regulations and operating practices
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and support process improvements
- Prioritize and manage workload to meet SLA requirements
- Demonstrate flexibility to support seasonal volumes and shifting priorities
Must Have Responsibilities:
- Complete assigned work daily with high accuracy
- Participate in daily team huddles (approx. 15 minutes)
- Maintain strict attention to detail while meeting deadlines
- Adapt quickly and support other departments when required
- Handle sensitive customer data responsibly
Experience:
- 1–2 years of overall experience
- Minimum 2 years of transaction processing experience preferred
- Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Skillsets:
- Strong computer skills, especially MS Office and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adjust priorities and workloads
Education:
- Post-secondary education required
- Speed and accuracy data entry test may be required
