Proulx Oil & Propane is a family-owned company proudly serving New Hampshire, Southern Maine and No. Shore Massachusetts since 1944. We are currently seeking a dependable, professional Customer Service & Operations Coordinator to join our team in Newmarket, NH.

This is not a traditional “call center” or basic customer service position.

Our customer service team plays an important role in supporting customers, delivery drivers, and service technicians throughout the heating season. The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, multitasking, and the ability to learn industry-specific procedures related to fuel deliveries, service scheduling, weather events, and customer support.

There is a learning curve to this role, and we are looking for someone who is willing to learn, grow, and become part of a long-term team environment.

We can train industry knowledge and procedures. What we cannot train is reliability, professionalism, communication skills, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming customer calls professionally and efficiently
  • Assist customers with deliveries, service scheduling, billing questions, and account support
  • Coordinate with service department customer service team
  • Enter and update customer information accurately
  • Help manage customer issues calmly and professionally during busy periods
  • Learn fuel-industry procedures, scheduling systems, and internal processes
  • Support daily office operations as part of a team-oriented environment

  • Previous customer service, administrative, scheduling, dispatching, or office experience preferred
