Position: Coordinator for Health Information Management
Enhance client care at Sick Kids as a Health Information Management Coordinator. This one-year contract role focuses on maintaining health records in a child and youth mental health setting.
Based at the Garry Hurvitz Centre, this position involves the development and management of health information records while ensuring compliance with privacy legislation. You are expected to work flexible hours and may need to travel between different sites.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and update client health information records accurately
• Coordinate preservation and access to personal health information
• Liaise with health professionals on information sharing
• Schedule appointments and manage communication with families
• Collect and report statistical data for compliance activities
Requirements:
• Diploma in Health Information Management
• Three years related experience required
• Certification from the Canadian College of Health Information
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
