THIS IS A FULL-TIME, SEASONAL POSITION FOR THE SUMMER 2025 SEASON (NOW THROUGH THE END OF OCTOBER)
Mission Point Resort, Mackinac Islands’ only full service, casual resort is currently seeking candidates to fill the position of Hotel Operations Administrative Assistant. This full time/seasonal position is located on Mackinac Island and offers competitive pay, housing, other perks. The ideal applicant will possess an upbeat attitude, and enjoy working in a multi-cultural environment.
POSITION SUMMARY
The primary role of the Operations Administrative Assistant is to provide high levels of administrative support to the Operations team, including but not limited to: Director of Operations, Guest Services, Housekeeping, Security, and Retail. Operations work closely with all departments at Mission Point Resort
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
Proactive approach, with exceptional initiative, creativity and problem-solving abilities
Ability to live and work on Mackinac Island seasonally
Excellent communication, both verbal and written
Ability to work as part of a team
Organization, efficiency, multi-tasking, attention to detail
Ability to follow detailed and specific procedures and processes
Must be self-motivated and demonstrate effective time management skills
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Be an enthusiastic, helpful, and positive member of the team
