Chiropractic Scheduler/ Assistant- Part Time Jobs in Altamonte Springs at Lawrence Teixeira, DC, PA
Chiropractic and Functional Medicine office in Altamonte Springs is seeking a part time assistant for scheduling/ front desk/ assisting patients with therapy. We are a family oriented, faith filled practice in search of a new member of the “family". We pride ourselves in working as a team and feel every person in our office has an important role in helping our patients feel better. We expect the winning candidate to be a reliable, professional, and loyal team player, and to have a positive attitude and a true desire to help people.
Hours are Monday 6:15 am- 12 n, 2-5. Tue-Fri 6:15-1 /2 pm . No weekends. Currently averages 34-36 hrs/week.
Duties:
- Ability to explain the benefits of chiropractic and functional medicine on phone and in person
- Answering multiple phone lines, ability to schedule appointments
- Assist with general office cleaning
- Provide overall support for Providers, screen phone calls
- Insurance verification, create accurate patient files, and accurate input of insurance information in ECLIPSE, experience with ECLIPSE a plus
- Checking patients in / out accurately in a professional manner, collecting copays
- Filing, copying, printing medical records as needed
- Ability to balance services / money- end of day closing
- Check and record patient vitals (BP, pulse, respiration, height and weight)
- Application of electric muscle stimulation & heat/ice.
- Application of traction
- Removal of acupuncture needles
- Assisting practitioners as needed
Qualifications:
- Must have experience in a medical office, with scheduling and insurance verification.
- Prefer experience in Alternative Medicine/ Chiropractic.
- Must be able to multitask
- Must have personal health and wellness lifestyle
