POSITION DESCRIPTION

Client Advocate

Job Summary:

Lakeshore Family Chiropractic is seeking a full-time Client Advocate. In this role, you will provide excellent customer service, administrative support, patient communication, and basic clinical assistance while helping create a positive, professional patient experience. Qualified applicants should have a strong work history and a genuine desire to help others. Training will be provided. Candidates must be available to work Monday–Thursday, 7:30 a.m.– 6:30 p.m., averaging 32–38 hours per week based on the needs of the office.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a warm, positive patient experience and cultivate strong relationships to promote patient retention.
  • Manage patient communications via phone, text, and email.
  • Coordinate patient flow through effective scheduling and room placement.
  • Provide support to patients by addressing questions related to services, appointment scheduling, and account balances.
  • Prepare and manage patient medical records, insurance verifications, reports of findings, and preparing financial documents.
  • Acquire patient vital signs, take x-rays and perform assessments as directed by the doctor.
  • Provide continuous updates to doctors on patient and business issues.
  • Ensure a consistently clean and welcoming environment by maintaining an organized workspace, disinfecting rooms, and keeping treatment areas and restrooms stocked, orderly, and well-maintained; perform light cleaning duties as needed.
  • Assist in marketing efforts by communicating current promotions.
  • Deliver timely, accurate completion of all assigned tasks with attention to detail.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Previous customer service and office experience is preferred.
  • Capacity to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Consistently demonstrate enthusiasm and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to exhibit professionalism and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use office technology, communication, and software tools.
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, interpersonal and listening skills.
  • Proven multitasking abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to alternate between prolonged periods of sitting and standing, with frequent walking and repeated transitions from seated to standing positions throughout the workday.
  • Finger dexterity to complete paperwork and utilize keyboard/mouse.
  • Lifting ability up to 50 pounds as necessary.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 – $17.00 per hour
