Job Summary
We are hiring an experienced Cabinet / Interior Designer with a strong background in residential design. This role is ideal for someone who is both creative and organized, with the ability to manage projects, work directly with clients, and support administrative tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop residential cabinetry and interior layouts
- Meet with clients to understand needs, present concepts, and provide design solutions
- Create detailed designs using 2020 Design software
- Manage multiple projects from initial concept through completion
- Coordinate timelines, materials, and communication with vendors or installers
- Prepare proposals, revisions, and project documentation
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties (scheduling, file organization, order tracking, purchase orders)
Requirements
- Residential cabinet and/or interior design experience required
- Proficiency in 2020 Design software (required)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable balancing design work with administrative tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working directly with homeowners and contractors
- Knowledge of cabinetry construction, materials, and finishes
