SUMMARY:
The Front Desk check In/Out position is responsible for welcoming visitors and patients, setting appointments, checking patients in and setting up follow up appointments.
DUTIES:
- Welcomes visitors and patients by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
- Optimizes patients’ satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by checking patient’s in in a timely manner
- Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information
- Keeps open communication with pre-cert team of orders for patients daily.
- Scan documents to charts
- Print out handouts/ assist clinical staff
- Keep up with spreadsheets
- other Duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicates effectively with the patient, medical staff, and attorneys
- Caring demeanor towards patients and co-workers
- Clinical knowledge and terminology
- Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
- Working knowledge of computers, fax, copiers and other technology as needed
Strong administrative skills with attention to details and accuracy
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 – $19.00 per hour
