Position: Temporary Administrative Support (Full and Part-time)
Description
We are looking for people to provide short-term administrative support in various departments at the University of Calgary. These roles are temporary and can be part-time or full-time, depending on departmental needs.
What You’ll Do
- Greeting visitors and answering phones
- Filing, photocopying, and data entry
- Managing calendars, coordinating on site and virtual meetings
- Preparing documents and presentations
- Using Microsoft Office programs
- Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Share Point
- Supporting team members when needed
What We’re Looking For
- Intermediate Microsoft office skills required
- Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Share Point
- 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role
- Administrative certification is an asset
- High school diploma (Grade 12)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Accurate typing and proofreading
Additional Information
These positions are part of the AUPE bargaining unit. The job classification will depend on the specific duties of the role.
