REQUIREMENTS
- Either (a) a Bachelor’s Degree
* in related field; OR - (b) satisfactory completion of 30 credits
* and two (2) years of related work experience in business – related Area OR - (c) Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma (GED) and at least five (5) years of experience in a related field.
- This position will be filled according to Civil Service rules on a Provisional appointment

DUTIES
- Acts as a liaison between the School District and Administrators of the contracted Health, Dental, Flex, Life Insurance and Workers’ Compensation plans
- Keeps an accurate accounting of attendance for the school district’s employees
- Enrolls members and inform them about coverage
- Complete reports in appropriate retirement system
- Answers members’ questions about their coverage and resolves claims problems when necessary
- Verifies billing for accuracy and makes requisition for payment
- Acts as liaison between district employees, retirees and insurance companies
- Maintains records and answers inquiries as to how much vacation, sick, etc. time an employee has left
- Receives and records accident reports for employees who are injured on the job
- Supports payroll with employee personnel information related to payroll
- Enroll employees in the retirement system
- Customary duties associated with the position
