Pride Health is hiring an Appeals & Letters Coordinator to support our clients in a fully remote job opportunity! This is a 6-month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Details:
Job Name: Appeals & Letters Coordinator
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 months Contract (Possibilities of extension)
Pay rate: $25 to 28/hr. On W2 (Pay Rate is based on experience /educational qualifications)
Schedule: 8 AM to 4:30 PM (40 hrs. wk.) | Mon – Fri (5 days/wk.)
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain standardized appeal letter templates to support new and existing business groups.
- Conduct comprehensive review of the current suite of appeal letters and implement necessary revisions based on regulatory, operational, and group-specific requirements.
- Collaborate with Compliance and Legal teams to ensure all appeal letters meet federal, state, and payer-specific guidelines prior to approval.
- Incorporate compliance feedback and maintain version control documentation throughout the review cycle.
- Format, finalize, and protect documents for secure upload to SharePoint, ensuring appropriate access controls and document governance protocols are applied.
- Track letter development lifecycle from drafting through stakeholder review and final approval, maintaining status reports and documentation logs.
- Attend cross-functional project meetings and provide detailed status updates on letter development progress, outstanding revisions, and approval timelines.
- Ensure all appeal templates reflect accurate regulatory language, benefit determination standards, and denial rationale structure.
- Support audit readiness by maintaining organized documentation of template revisions, approval history, and compliance sign-offs.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience handling appeals.
- Experience in handling the development/ creation or editing/ modification of appeals letter templates.
- Project/ Program Management experience is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools.
