Role Description
The Administrator will provide day-to-day administrative support to ensure smooth operations at the Birmingham office in an on-site, full-time capacity. Responsibilities include managing student records and databases, organizing and updating documentation, and supporting consultants with scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings.
The role involves responding to email and telephone inquiries, preparing basic reports, helping maintain office supplies and equipment, and assisting with event or workshop logistics. The Administrator will also support internal processes such as filing, data entry, and compliance checks, while collaborating with colleagues to deliver an efficient and professional service to students and partner institutions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong administrative skills, including data entry, document management, and record keeping.
- Competence in office software, including MS Office, spreadsheets, email tools, and basic database systems.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with students, colleagues, and partner institutions.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, including prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling student information and compliance-related documentation.
- Basic understanding of UK universities, admissions processes, and student recruitment compliance requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an office environment and provide proactive support to a busy team.
- Professional telephone and email communication skills.
- Problem-solving attitude and willingness to support different areas of office operations.
- Experience in education, student services, administration, or customer service is beneficial.
- Relevant qualification or training in administration, business, education, or a related field is an advantage.
