The Ward Clerk, under the Office Manager, is key in ensuring the smooth operation of our home. You will greet visitors, manage telephone lines, and maintain records diligently. Your strong communication and clerical skills will be pivotal in updating and coordinating schedules effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage inbound calls and relay messages accurately
• Welcome and guide visitors within the facility
• Maintain detailed and organized resident files
• Assist with labeling personal belongings of residents
• Prepare and post the nursing schedule daily
Requirements:
• Preferably hold a Health Care Aide certificate
• Basic clerical and administrative experience
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Competency in Microsoft Office suite
• Obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check, if necessary
