United Power Systems Australia Pty Ltd (UPSA) is a family-owned business with a small team of Electrical Engineers, Electricians and Mechanics. UPSA specialise in delivering reliable, efficient, and compliant power services, backed by strong technical capability and a commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
At UPSA, we value teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement. As our operations expand, we are looking for a proactive Administration Officer to grow with us.
What You’ll Tackle Daily
In this role, you will provide broad administrative support while gaining exposure to HR processes, payroll preparation, and operational coordination. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing documentation, maintaining records, and coordinating general office administration
- Supporting HR activities and maintaining confidential employee records
- Assisting with payroll processing and timesheet coordination
- Preparation, control, and management of ISO documentation
- Coordinating technician schedules, travel, accommodation, meetings, and agendas
- Raising purchase orders and assisting with supplier coordination
- Supporting invoicing, accounts administration, and basic bookkeeping tasks
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and service providers
- Ensuring compliance and safety documentation is up to date

What You Bring to the Table
We are seeking someone proactive, reliable, and comfortable working both independently and within a small team environment.
- Strong Microsoft Office and general computer skills
- Confident communication skills with a professional and friendly manner
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- A flexible and positive attitude
- Previous experience in administration (essential)
- Experience with payroll and accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, or similar) advantageous
- Experience in a technical, electrical, or industrial services environment beneficial but not essential
- Experience in ISO documentation preparation and management (preferred)
- Current Australian driver’s licence
