Pay Rate: $30.00/hour
Our client, a fast-growing, entrepreneurial company in the lighting and home décor space is seeking a highly organized and adaptable Administrative / Personal Assistant to support its Founder. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with a dynamic leader managing multiple business ventures in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This role provides both professional and personal support to the Founder, serving as a key point of contact for internal operations and external partners. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a dynamic environment requiring flexibility and strong prioritization skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a primary liaison between the Founder and customers, vendors, and external partners
- Manage complex calendars, schedules, and travel arrangements (domestic & international)
- Coordinate meetings, prepare materials, and ensure the Founder is well-prepared
- Handle email correspondence and draft communications on behalf of the Founder
- Support office operations, including vendor coordination and supply management
- Assist with expense tracking, reporting, and light bookkeeping tasks
- Provide administrative and occasional personal support as needed
- Help coordinate events and support multiple business entities
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in an administrative, executive assistant, or personal assistant role
- Strong communication skills and professionalism when working with external stakeholders
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and pivot in a fast-paced environment
- Discreet and capable of handling confidential information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; bookkeeping experience is a plus
- Proactive, resourceful, and able to manage up effectively
