We are a small, growing organization based in San Gabriel, CA, seeking a full-time, on-site Administrative Assistant on a temp-to-hire basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and supporting day-to-day operations in a close-knit office environment.
The Administrative Assistant will provide general administrative and clerical support, including answering phones, coordinating calendars, organizing files, maintaining records, and assisting leadership with various tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with a small team.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and route incoming phone calls in a professional manner
- Manage scheduling, appointments, and basic calendar coordination
- Maintain accurate files, records, and office documentation
- Provide administrative support to executives and senior staff
- Assist with general office tasks and special projects as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in administrative or clerical support roles
- Strong phone etiquette and clear written and verbal communication skills
- Experience supporting executive or senior-level staff, including handling confidential information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a small-office setting
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree or certification in office administration is a plus
