Since 1983, our family-owned and operated company has been providing top-quality plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and electrical services to residential and commercial clients in the northern Minneapolis suburbs. We are a small, close-knit team committed to honest recommendations, high standards of integrity, and superior craftsmanship. We pride ourselves on quality work and excellent customer service, and we are currently growing and looking to add a second Administrative / Customer Service Representative to support our expanding operations.
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and customer-focused individual to join our team. This role combines customer service, administrative support, permitting, scheduling, and light bookkeeping. You will be a key point of contact for our customers while helping keep projects running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries professionally and efficiently
- Schedule appointments, service calls, and inspections with customers, contractors, and municipalities
- Pull permits through city and county permitting systems and track permit status
- Maintain accurate customer records and job information in our CRM system (Service Titan preferred)
- Prepare invoices, process payments, and assist with basic bookkeeping tasks
- Enter and update data accurately in company systems
- Create and manage spreadsheets, documents, and reports using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Communicate with internal team, vendors, and inspectors regarding project updates
- Maintain organized digital and physical files
- Provide general office and occasional shop support as needed
Experience
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience, including handling multi-line phone systems
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Professional demeanor and positive problem-solving attitude
Highly Preferred
- Experience with Service Titan or similar CRM software
- Knowledge of construction, HVAC, plumbing, or service industry operations
- Experience pulling permits and scheduling inspections
- Basic billing, invoicing, or bookkeeping knowledge

Introductory Period
