An Accounting Clerk is a professional who performs accounting and front office functions. They greet customers, vendors, answer phones, receive and deliver mail, perform data entry, accounting tasks and assist with maintaining and ordering office supplies.
Duties and responsibilities

- Answer incoming phone calls and transfer to the appropriate department.
- Order office and breakroom supplies.
- Receive and distribute mail.
- Manage the petty cash drawer.
- Monitor companies EBAY account.
- Customer payment remittance – posted/pulled/filed.
- Daily boxed shipped spreadsheet for CVO/Indian and Service department.
- Monitor HDSN/OpenText and AR report twice a week to make sure invoices are accurate to receive appropriate payments in a timely manner.
- Shop for wellness Wednesdays
- Bank Runs /various errands as needed
- Nightly reports pulled as needed
- Customer correspondence
- Enter pack slips/invoices into the system
- Run daily rework numbers
- Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- ERP experience preferred
- Overtime when required
Working conditions

Physical requirements
- Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
- Climbing: Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Body agility is emphasized. This factor is important if the amount and kind of climbing required exceeds that required for ordinary locomotion.
- Kneeling: Bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees.
