At Commonwealth Veterinary Hospital, we are proud to be a fast-paced, six-doctor practice where our dedicated team is passionate about providing exceptional care to our furry patients. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated full-time Veterinary Receptionist to help support our hospital’s commitment to excellent client service and medical care.
This role requires a special kind of person—a people person looking to combine a love of animals with a passion for administrative excellence. As a key member of our front-line team, you’ll be responsible for greeting clients, managing appointment and surgery bookings, answering incoming calls, managing email and text communications, and assisting veterinarians with administrative tasks. Additionally, you’ll play a crucial role in opening and closing daily finances, including cash reporting. Schedule includes 4 shifts per week with rotating Saturdays.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service abilities
- Computer proficiency
- A proven ability to multitask and thrive in a high-pressure environment
Experience in the veterinary or healthcare field is preferred, though not required. Finding joy in helping people get connected with care is required. Hourly compensation negotiable for the right candidate.
