Duties
- Greet clients warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression for all visitors and pet owners
- Schedule appointments efficiently, accommodating urgent cases while maintaining a balanced daily flow
- Collect payments and handle billing with transparency and professionalism
- Answer phone inquiries promptly, providing clear information about services, appointments, and clinic policies
- Maintain detailed patient records using veterinary software, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist with intake procedures for new patients, including gathering medical history and updating client information
- Support veterinary staff by managing client communications, follow-up calls, and appointment reminders
Skills

- Knowledge of veterinary terminology, medical procedures, and pet care practices to assist clients confidently
- Familiarity with kennel operations, animal husbandry, and basic animal handling techniques to support clinic needs
- Ability to handle animals safely during client interactions or when assisting veterinary staff with restraint or restraint-related tasks
- Understanding of USDA regulations, DEA regulations related to controlled substances, and aseptic techniques in clinical settings
