We are seeking a reliable, outgoing, and detail-oriented professional to join our front desk team.
Position Summary:
As the first and last face our clients see, you play a critical role in shaping the client experience. This position requires an individual who can balance excellent communication skills with digital workflow efficiency, all while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor. We have flexibility for either a full-time or part-time schedule, but weekend shifts are a core part of this role.

Key Responsibilities:
Client Services: Welcome clients and patients, manage a multi-line phone system, answer inquiries, and schedule appointments efficiently.
Digital Practice Management: Process client arrivals, update digital medical records, verify patient information, and accurately handle financial transactions and invoices.
Communication Hub: Act as the liaison between clients and the medical staff, ensuring messages and patient updates are delivered accurately and promptly.
Pharmacy & Food Sales: Assist clients with prescription pick-ups, prescription food refills, and over-the-counter purchases.
Hospital Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area, lobby, and exam rooms.
Qualifications & Skills:
Availability: Must be available to work weekend shifts.
Software/Tech Skills: Strong computer literacy is required. Experience with Shepherd veterinary software (or similar cloud-based PIMS) is highly preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in a veterinary hospital or medical receptionist role is preferred.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to remain empathetic yet professional in stressful or emotional situations.
