Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our practice. Our single-doctor establishment is characterized by a team of dedicated professionals, state-of-the-art equipment, and a warm, client-focused environment. The ideal candidate should be an energetic and proficient animal lover with a demonstrated skill set in scheduling, customer service, prescription refills, and providing assistance to our vet techs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage scheduling, including check-ins and check-outs, ensuring smooth client flow.
- Provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
- Facilitate prescription refills accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to established protocols.
- Assist our vet techs as needed, contributing to the seamless operation of the practice.
- Handle a high volume of telephone duties, addressing inquiries and coordinating appointments with precision and courtesy.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated proficiency in scheduling processes, both check-in and check-out procedures.
- Strong customer service skills, with an ability to empathize and effectively address client needs.
- Experience in managing prescription refills in a veterinary setting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Ability to collaborate seamlessly with our vet techs, contributing to a cohesive and efficient team dynamic.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Work Schedule:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Wednesday: 8:00 am to Noon
- Closed on Weekends
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 – $22.00 per hour
