Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with client communication and clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and pets, providing friendly and professional customer service
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage the clinic calendar
- Maintain accurate patient records and update client information
- Process billing, payments, and explain service charges
- Communicate effectively with veterinarians and technical staff
- Assist with patient check-in, including basic animal handling when needed
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming
- Provide compassionate support to clients during sensitive situations
Qualifications:
- Previous receptionist and/or customer service experience preferred
- Previous work in veterinary clinic or animal care settting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for animal care and welfare
