Veterinary Receptionist Jobs in Brunswick, GA at Coastal Home Veterinary Services

Responsibilities:

– Greet and check-in clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner

– Weighing animals

– Inputting information into online chart notes

– Proficiency with computers

– Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar

– Answer phone calls and address client inquiries or direct them to the appropriate staff member and logging all interactions

– Assist with filing and maintaining patient records

– Collect payments for services rendered

– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area

– Assist with basic animal care tasks such as feeding, walking, and administering medications as needed

Requirements:

– Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility preferred

– Knowledge of basic animal care and handling techniques

– Familiarity with veterinary terminology and procedures

– Excellent communication and customer service skills

– Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

– Proficiency in computer systems and software used in veterinary clinics

– Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

Skills:

– Veterinary: Familiarity with veterinary procedures, treatments, and medications.
