We are currently searching for full-time organized, empathic and friendly veterinary receptionist to join our team! Old Dominion Animal Health Center has been serving the McLean area for over 40 years and we pride ourselves in our excellent health care and customer service.

Veterinary Receptionist Responsibilities:
- Greeting and welcoming clients in a warm, friendly manner.
- Answering telephone calls and returning e-mails.
- Scheduling appointments
- Checking in and checking out patients
- Obtaining medical records and reports from different animal hospitals
- Collect payment at time of service
- Screen and route calls to corresponding doctors and staff members
- Advise clients about different prescription foods options for their pets
- Advise clients on what flea/tick and heartworm prevention we carry
Requirements:
- Being able to carry up to 50lbs
- Ability to manage time and multitask.
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to work with a team and take on independent tasks
- Having a positive and compassionate personality
- A love for animals!
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour

- Weekends as needed
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Veterinary Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- Front Desk: 1 year (Preferred)
