Southwoods Animal Hospital is looking for new team members to join us in providing the highest quality pet and client care available in Greensboro, NC. We are a privately-owned, full-service veterinary hospital accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association. We are seeking to add additional veterinary receptionists to our team!

The perfect fit for our team is professional, hard-working, friendly and flexible with excellent communication skills and a passion for client education. We handle pets with minimal restraint in a gentle, low-stress way, so if you are trained in Fear Free techniques, that’s even better!
We are a computerized practice, and experience with Cornerstone is a plus. Our busy schedule requires maintaining a positive attitude and poised demeanor while multi-tasking and helping your team.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist clients and their pets upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain accurate patient records.
- Handling patients with a caring and calm demeanor.
- Utilize veterinary terminology to communicate effectively with clients regarding pet care and treatment options.
- Process payments and manage medical collections as needed.
- Provide information on pet care and services offered at the clinic.
- Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure high-quality animal care and support during critical care situations.
- Assist in marketing events and photo booths within the hospital.
