Duties
- Greet clients and their pets upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic’s calendar efficiently.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about services.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update client information in the system.
- Process payments and handle billing inquiries with professionalism.
- Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient intake and discharge processes.
- Educate clients on pet care, preventive health measures, and available services.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of animal care and pet care practices.
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology to communicate effectively with staff and clients.
- Experience in animal husbandry to understand the needs of various species.
- Understanding of animal anatomy knowledge for accurate client education.
- Proficiency in using office equipment and veterinary software systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
