Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at a busy 2nd generation family-owned small animal practice in Spokane Valley, WA. We are looking for a friendly and organized person to join our team and help create a welcoming, supportive environment for clients and their pets.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar
- Check clients in and out, process payments, and handle medical record updates
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients about their pet’s needs
- Assist with prescription refills and client reminders
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
- Support veterinary staff by coordinating client flow and administrative tasks
Qualifications:
- Previous receptionist, customer service, or veterinary clinic experience preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate and patient with pets and their owners
- Proficient with computers and scheduling software (experience with veterinary software a plus)
