Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Typist – Discharge Summary, located in Narmetta. The day-to-day responsibilities include efficiently typing and formatting patient discharge summaries, transcribing dictated medical information, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely documentation. The individual will collaborate closely with healthcare professionals, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to medical and organizational standards.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Typing and Audio Typing with high accuracy and speed
- Strong Clerical Skills, including organization and document management
- Exceptional written and verbal Communication skills
- Proficient Computer Literacy with experience in using word processing and healthcare systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with professionalism
- Experience in healthcare or medical transcription is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification in a related field is preferred
