Serves as a primary point of contact for students, customers and the campus community . Addresses and resolves issues while providing accurate information . Processes transactions in accordance with institutional policy. Provides administrative support to the entire Transportation Services Department . May coordinate work and train staff and student employees . Occasional night and weekend work may be required to support department operations ( generally scheduled in advance).

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Sends, receives, copies, and distributes communications to the appropriate entities according to established policies and procedures.

  • Answer in-person inquiries, emails and phone calls from students, customers and the campus community for any subject relating to Transportation Services.

  • Serves as first point of contact for individuals and groups providing basic organizational information via phone, in person, and through other communication mediums, routing more complex inquiries to the appropriate entities.

  • Provide office support to all areas of Transportation Services

  • Cross training in a variety of jobs and provide back up support as needed

This position is not eligible for hybrid work and requires 100% onsite work.

Required Qualifications

  • Evidence of strong customer service skills
  • Experience with professional workplace communication via various methods of communication.
  • Evidence of proficiency with Microsoft 365 in a professional or school setting.
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in training or employee development
  • Experience coordinating meetings and scheduling
  • Demonstrated experience within the parking or transportations industries

Target Salary Range

$16.82/ hr – $22.00/hr . Salary will be determined by candidate’s knowledge, skills and experience as it relates to the position .
