A well-established title insurance company in Irvine is seeking an experienced Title Curative Specialist to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with title, escrow, or real estate experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys problem-solving.
Position Overview
The Title Curative Specialist will be responsible for reviewing title issues, clearing conditions, and ensuring files are ready for closing. This role requires strong communication skills, organization, and the ability to manage multiple files and clients simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Perform clerical and administrative duties related to title curative processes
Review title reports and identify clouds on title
Resolve title discrepancies including payoffs, subordinations, deeds, judgments, liens, HOA issues, and related matters
Maintain an active pipeline of new and existing files
Provide excellent customer service by responding to client inquiries via phone and email
Manage multiple clients daily while adhering to individual client guidelines
Train, support, and collaborate with offshore partners assisting in the curative process
Ensure files are completed accurately and in a timely manner for closing
Qualifications
2+ years of related experience in title, escrow, mortgage, or real estate services
High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong understanding of title curative processes and title clearance requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience with SoftPro preferred
Ability to learn and navigate computerized systems and data entry platforms
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
