Title Clerk Jobs in Kansas City at PREMIER AUTOMOTIVE

The DMV/Title Clerk handles information regarding motor vehicle registration and processes legal documents and other state-required documents. Title Clerks are administratively adept and organized with handling files and maintaining documents. The ideal candidate will have previous experience processing Motor Vehicle paperwork in a car or RV dealership, and a working knowledge of DMV Regulations and Procedures. Must be detail-oriented and have excellent communication skills.

Job Duties:

  • Must hold customer satisfaction and quality to its highest standards.
  • Process documents for state registration, fill out the proper paperwork and ensure that tax and title documents are completed.
  • Send bills, contracts, warranties and service contracts to the appropriate agencies.
  • Check for accuracy in all documents and checks for completeness and signatures on all required parts of forms.
  • Checks accuracy of vehicle sale and purchase prices.
  • Organize and maintain file of sale, prices, payments, warranties, service contracts and other pertinent information related to the sale or transfer of a vehicle.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in a car or RV dealership preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Self-motivated, able to effectively prioritize tasks and organize schedules.
  • Working knowledge of Motor Vehicle Regulations and Procedures.
  • Ability to handle discrepancies or other issues in a professional manner.
  • Ability to pass DMV’s screening process (in states where it is required).
  • Pass drug testing, background investigation/interview.
