Under the general supervision of the laboratory director, the Technical Lab Assistant assumes the responsibility for performing Stat testing services for the Okatie MOIC Lab and performs venipuncture and related procedures such as specimen preparation for testing and transport under the philosophy, polices, and procedures established by the hospital and department. Duties may also include clerical and secretarial assistance necessary to maintain the efficient productive operation of the Laboratory.
