Overview: Under minimal supervision, the Informatics Tech supports the activities and daily functions of Perioperative Informatics as they relate to electronic medical record charge review, communication, maintenance and training to the end users in the Perioperative Services Department. Qualifications: Required Education: High School Diploma Preferred Education: Associate’s Degree. Required Licensure/Certifications: N/A Preferred Licensure/Certifications: N/A Required Experience: 1-2 years Administrative/clerical experience Preferred Experience: N/A Necessary Skills: 1. Highly attentive to detail, possessing strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
2. Exceptional proficiency in both verbal and written communication. 3. Proficiency in medical terminology and expertise in electronic medical records (EMR) management.
4. Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications, specifically Outlook, Teams and Excel. 5. Familiarity with EPIC, along with a strong background in charge review and billing processes, is considered beneficial.
