The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

The Department of Biomedical Informatics (DBMI) at Columbia University seeks to hire a student to help with administrative tasks in the department. The student will be under the supervision of Ann Marshak, Department Administrator.

  • Stocks supplies in the pantry (e.g., coffee, utensils) and tidying of the space, places orders for restocking.
  • Stocks copy paper in shared printers, replaces toner cartridges, and submits orders for restocking.
  • Prepares office and cubicle space for incoming students/faculty/staff (e.g., prepares nameplate, keys).
  • Assist with events arrangement when necessary.
  • Performs other administrative tasks as needed.

High School diploma and enrollment in a Columbia University undergraduate degree program.

Must be able to be on site 3 days per week for 1-2 hours/day.
