Job Title: Stockroom Floater
We are seeking a reliable and flexible Stockroom Floater to support warehouse, stockroom, and inventory operations at our South Elgin facility. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is comfortable assisting in multiple departments as business needs change.
We are a privately owned Contract Electronics and PCB Manufacturer serving industries including medical equipment, RFID, wireless telemetry, industrial controls, gaming & entertainment, and more.
ResponsibilitiesStockroom / Kitting (Primary Focus)
- Pick electrical components accurately for production kits
- Prepare, stage, and deliver kits to production
- Maintain organized stockroom inventory locations
- Assist with stocking and replenishment
- Ensure materials are readily available for production needs
Receiving Support (As Needed)
- Assist with unloading incoming shipments
- Verify materials against packing slips and purchase orders
- Enter received materials into inventory systems
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area
Inventory Control / Cycle Counting
- Perform cycle counts and inventory checks
- Identify and report inventory discrepancies
- Assist with inventory reconciliation and adjustments
- Support periodic and annual inventory activities
Additional Duties
- Support warehouse and stockroom operations as needed
- Assist with loading/unloading materials
- Complete basic clerical tasks including labels and data entry
- Follow all company safety procedures
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions
- Ability to lift 30–50 lbs
- Standing for extended periods
- Warehouse and production floor environment
Pay: $15.00 per hour
