We are seeking a dependable, highly organized professional to coordinate hiring, training, and staff scheduling across our homes.
This is a full-time office position with after-hours on-call staffing coordination responsibilities.
Schedule
- 40 hours per week
- 4 days per week in office (Monday–Friday, OFF Wednesday)
- 32 hours physically in office
- 8 hours weekly paid for on-call coverage
- Required availability after hours and weekends for emergency staffing issues (call-offs, shift coverage needs)
Responsibilities
Hiring & Recruitment Support
- Post job openings and screen applicants
- Schedule interviews
- Assist with onboarding paperwork
- Maintain applicant pipeline
Orientation & Training Coordination
- Schedule new hire orientation
- Track required DCF trainings
- Monitor annual training deadlines
- Maintain compliance logs
Scheduling & Staffing
- Create and manage staff schedules
- Fill call-offs and last-minute vacancies
- Maintain staffing ratios
- Coordinate coverage with supervisors
After-Hours On-Call Coordination
- Respond to emergency staffing issues
- Secure replacement staff when needed
- Support supervisors with coverage logistics
Office Support
- Maintain personnel files
- Assist Executive Director with clerical tasks
- Prepare staffing reports as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years administrative, scheduling, or staffing experience
- Strong organization skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Comfortable handling urgent situations
- Professional communication skills
- Must be reliable and reachable during on-call periods
- Background screening required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
