Position: Staff Assistant – 4-H & Livestock (FT)
Suwannee County Board of Commissioners is seeking applicants for
STAFF ASSISTANT – 4-H & Livestock
This is a full-time administrative position working with the Extension Department’s 4-H Youth Development and Livestock operations. An employee allocated to this class performs a variety of administrative, financial and secretarial functions which generally follow standardized procedures as well as choice of action within clearly defined limits. Requires judgement to apply factual background and fundamental principles in developing approaches and techniques for problem-solving to ensure quality and accuracy of work.
Minimum qualifications;
High School diploma or GED and three years of appropriate work experience, two-year degree or higher is preferred. Experience working with youth is helpful. Proficiency with the utilization of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher or Canva. Advanced clerical and bookkeeping experience are recommended. Must have excellent people skills and possess a valid Florida Driver’s License.
