Spa Attendant/Receptionist Jobs in Kailua at The Skin Hut
The Skin Hut is a tranquil, boutique spa rooted in holistic care, clean beauty, and genuine connection. We are looking for a reliable, warm, and detail-oriented Part-Time Spa Attendant / Front Desk Receptionist to help maintain the daily flow of the spa and support both our clients and therapists.
This role is ideal for someone who loves organization, customer service, and being part of a calm, wellness-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk & Client Experience
- Greet, check in, and check out clients with warmth and professionalism
- Answer phones, return missed calls/messages promptly, and respond to spa emails as needed
- Schedule, pre-book, and manage appointments using Mangomint
- Monitor and manage the waitlist, contacting clients and coordinating with therapists to fill openings
- Maintain the overall flow of the spa throughout the day
Scheduling & Team Support
- Look ahead at the weekly schedule to identify gaps or opportunities
- Communicate with therapists regarding schedule adjustments and wait list requests
- Ensure accurate service descriptions and pricing are communicated to clients
Retail & Inventory
- Support retail product sales through education (never pushy)
- Learn spa services and product lines using provided materials
- Review inventory counts, check product pricing accuracy, and monitor expiration dates
- Set aside products expiring within the next month
Cleanliness & Spa Presentation
- Maintain a clean, peaceful spa environment (front desk, lobby, hallways, bathrooms)
- Organize the front desk and restock menus, business cards, cups, and bags
- Remove products from shelves for routine cleaning and organization
- Assist with laundry, including towel folding and maintaining washer/dryer
- Organize clean facial tools and supplies properly
Marketing & Visual Touches
- Update the sidewalk chalkboard with seasonal specials
- Create occasional Canva posts, stories, or reels and share with management
- Support the spa’s calm, polished aesthetic

- Interest in skincare, wellness, and clean beauty
Bonus Experience (Not Required)
- Spa, wellness, or retail experience
- Mangomint or similar booking software
- Social media or Canva familiarity
Position Details
- Part-time hours
- 2-3 days per week, including weekends.
- $17/hour
- Mornings and weekends required
