Are you a numbers whiz with a passion for providing exceptional customer service? We’re seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Service Support Specialist. As a vital part of our automotive dealership, you will play a crucial role in delivering a seamless and pleasant experience for our valued customers.
Responsibilities: This position will be Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays (4-10 hour shifts, approx. 7am-6pm) and involves receptionist, administrative, and cashier/bookkeeping duties, providing a dynamic and varied work flow.
- Documentation Dynamo: Serve as a meticulous bookkeeper, ensuring accurate and precise data entry of Service Repair Orders into the accounting/dealer system. Taking charge of the paperwork processes, you will expertly manage and organize all service customer documentation. Your knack for accurate record-keeping will contribute to a smooth and efficient workflow, ensuring that all necessary paperwork is complete and readily accessible for customer checkout.
- Multi-Tasking Prodigy: Juggle various responsibilities simultaneously, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and providing support to other areas of the dealership as needed. Your ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks will be your key to success.
- Customer Service Guru: Deliver friendly and efficient customer service at the cashier counter, providing assistance with billing inquiries. Your excellent communication skills and ability to handle customer interactions with empathy and professionalism will help leave a positive impression.
- Payment Processing Maestro: Accurately process customer payments when needed, while ensuring proper documentation and adherence to company policies. Your meticulous attention to detail will guarantee error-free transactions, and help you balance the nightly closing report and cash drawer.
- Team Collaboration Extraordinaire: Collaborate with service advisors, BDC agents, receptionist and other departments to ensure a smooth flow of operations. Your ability to work well in a team environment will contribute to a productive work atmosphere.
Requirements:
- Exceptional Customer Service Skills: Display a friendly and customer-focused demeanor, with a commitment to delivering top-notch service to our customers.
- Numerical Proficiency: Possess strong math skills and attention to detail to accurately process payments, balance the nightly closing report/cash, and maintain financial records.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to ensure effective interactions with customers and team members.
- Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Automotive Knowledge: Basic understanding of automotive terminology and dealership operations is a plus, but not required.
