Job Overview: Satguru Travel is in search of an individual with a strategic mindset, a deep passion for the product, and a proven sales and networking track record. In the pursuit of acquiring new business, the candidate will play a key role in establishing commercial strategies and agreements. The position requires effectively promoting Satguru Corporate services to maximize both travel spend and profitability.

The successful candidate will be tasked with expanding our market share in [country] while maintaining robust relationships with existing clients. The role entails targeting a diverse range of entities, including MNCs, Corporates, SMEs, embassies, and Non-Profit organizations. The candidate will be actively involved in negotiating, implementing, and enforcing service level agreements to optimize the revenue and market share of the organization.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Proactively generate leads and prospects using diverse methods like cold calling, networking, and participating in industry events.

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of competitor offerings.

• Effectively maintain and expand the client portfolio.

• Manage relationships at multiple levels both internally and externally.

• Weekly analysis of client portfolio & spend reports.

• Engage in consultations with clients to identify additional opportunities.

• Oversee relationships with internal stakeholders, including onboarding and implementations.

• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or surpass sales targets and revenue objectives.

• Maintain a positive corporate image on LinkedIn.

• Plan and coordinate corporate events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand presence.

• Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor strategies, and potential opportunities.

• Utilize findings to refine marketing strategies and stay ahead of market changes.

Compliance with Internal Sales Processes:

• Collaborate with the design team to create collateral, including model presentations, commercials, and other materials, to bolster the sales process.

• Assure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements in all business development activities.

• Assist customers and internal stakeholders in successful implementation and transition, demonstrating thorough communication.

• Actively participate in networking client functions, training seminars, client functions, buzz nights, focus days, and conferences.

• Provide progress updates on the pipeline to the Operations Team.

• Ensure adherence to all One Best Way processes, including CRM, KPIs, etc.

Professional Background & Qualifications:

• Proven track record of a minimum of 2 years in business development or sales, ideally within the travel industry.

. Must be carrying a driving license for a car

• Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.

• Comprehensive knowledge of independent markets and current trends in the travel industry.

• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

• Established ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with clients/agents and stakeholders.

• Robust negotiation and persuasion skills.

• Adept at working independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Proficient in LinkedIn, Artificial Intelligence, Microsoft Office, Google workspace, and CRM software.

• Mauritian national only.

• Experience in the full sales cycle, including deal closing.

• Knowledge of geographical maps, destinations, and airlines.

• Immediate Joining.

• Skilled in writing and editing content with an attention to detail.

• Ability to travel as necessary.
