This is an in-person on campus, non-remote position. The University has implemented a program allowing employees to work from home one day a week. Participation is subject to Divisional Executive approval depending on operational need.

Brief Job Overview/Summary

The Bursar’s Office at Stockton University is seeking a Seasonal Specialist to administer the daily operations related to student receivables. The Seasonal Specialist will work collaboratively with all Bursar personnel to achieve operational goals within the office.

Descriptions of Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

The Season Specialist duties will include:

Completes cash/check transactions and issues receipts.
Reconciles and records payments at the end of each business day.
Customer service & communication to students and campus partners
Preparation and distribution of mailed correspondence
Assists in retrieving and sorting incoming mail.
Processes daily student ID requests
Represents the Bursar’s office at campus tabling events.
Performs outreach to students with delinquent accounts with courtesy and professionalism while adhering to FERPA regulations.
Create Invoices per request of department
Assists in coverage of departmental email
Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of cashiering experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

Effective communication skills
Must be able to multi-task, work in a high-volume environment, and handle time sensitive projects
