    10 Month (201 Day) – Full Time M-F 7:35 am – 3:35 pm

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRED SKILLS
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum of one-year secretarial experience preferred.
    • Knowledge of technology and computer software.
    • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
    RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
    Serves as the secretary to the principal and as a facilitator for the school/public being served in communicating information, problem solving, material acquisition, cash handling and record keeping.
    • Maintain complete and accurate records for students, staff and all activities that are pertinent to this position. This includes, but is not limited to attendance, student records, school fees and various accounts, building budgets and staff attendance.
    • Processes attendance/payroll for the building staff.
    • Takes/transcribes notes for correspondence.
    • Participates in school registration, including annual kindergarten registration.
    • Prepares for opening and closing of school.
    • Assists PTO with activities as needed.
    • Orders, operates, processes and maintains office materials and equipment.
    • Maintains confidentiality of student activities and school records.
    PAY AND BENEFITS
    • $17.50/hour starting plus benefits. The District can provide additional credit to candidates who have prior work experience.
