Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable, organized, and compassionate Staffing & On-Call Coordinator to support our growing private duty home care agency. This role is responsible for caregiver scheduling, managing staffing coverage, responding to call-offs, and coordinating after-hours on-call support to ensure clients receive uninterrupted care.
This position includes in-office hours Monday–Friday from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM, along with shared on-call responsibilities, including evenings, weekends, and rotating weekend coverage.
Responsibilities
– Manage daily caregiver schedules and staffing assignments
– Fill open shifts and address coverage needs
– Respond to caregiver call-offs and staffing changes
– Communicate with caregivers and clients regarding schedule updates
– Coordinate urgent after-hours staffing needs while on call
– Assist with new case staffing and caregiver-client matching
– Support office organization and administrative tasks as needed
– Work closely with agency leadership to ensure continuity of care and smooth operations
Qualifications
– Experience in scheduling, staffing coordination, home care, healthcare, or office administration preferred
– Strong communication and problem-solving skills
– Ability to remain calm and responsive in urgent situations
– Highly organized with attention to detail
– Comfortable managing multiple priorities
– Reliable and dependable with strong follow-through
– Experience with caregiver scheduling or home care operations is a plus
Schedule
– In-office: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
– Shared on-call responsibilities (including rotating weekends)
